The Weird (Al) Years
When I was a younger not even a man yet, not yet a woman. I loved Weird Al Yankovic, past tense. Then I fell off the bandwagon so to speak, if he ever had a bandwagon. I feel like that is the way it went with a lot of people they just got older and stopped listening because they got older. But your age shouldn’t restrict you from enjoying something just because someone thinks it should. Then I stopped and listened to some of his older work that I grew up with and remembered the good times. My very first Weird Al song oddly enough was “The Saga Begins” and I fell in love. After listening to his album “Running with Scissors” again I started looking for his newer music, it was around the time he just released “Straight Outta Lynwood” so new songs were a plenty and damn it all if I didn’t hear some great stuff. After all at the time I was more familiar with popular music.
But just becoming a fan of his music didn’t mean I found a new respect for the man, after all he was just parodying a music by people I didn’t like, why should I respect him? He isn’t an artist, he’s a satirist. I was wrong and stupid. I’m tried to write parody lyrics and guess what it’s hard especially if you have literally no musical talent, and I used to play piano, the sitting accordion.
Then I saw something…
I was a stupid little shit as a kid and this just proved it to me. I figured he just did what regular smucks do and garage band the song to remove lyrics and then just silly little lyrics over it. So it’s nice to know how dumb I was and really just now how hard this man really works to make the “silly little songs” we all enjoy. So if you think you are too old for a good old fashioned parody song by the master of the art Mr. Weird Al Yankovic please take a moment to listen to some of his music, new or old, and just let your age mean nothing like it should and enjoy one of his masterpieces.
And be sure to give his new album a look-see.

Sexual Harassment Panda
Ok let’s start this out right. As far as I’m aware, I am not a furry. I hold nothing but respect for them and I say “As far as I am aware, I am not a furry.” because I could be. I’ve seen furry porn. I’ve used furry porn and I’m a big fan of furry art (Not even porn, just the use of anthropomorphic characters). That said this is a strange thing I’ve seen for a few years in my local Walmart.
From looking at this image I can see some things I’d consider odd but to start off let’s just look at it. I see this image and I think, it’s just kind of meh. But look closer at each individual character.
This is a cutesy giraffe. Nothing crazy. Nothing silly. Just a giraffe with a necklace that I think (personally) would appeal to little girls.
This is a cute little zebra. A little more punk rock with the mohawk mane, but still pretty simple. Not much standing out but to counter that punk rock attitude a cute little butterfly on her nose. I think it is reasonable to assume all of these characters are female. And I’m pretty sure this image has been her belong since before MLP became popular again so I think we can rule out them trying to use this to bring in the bronies. So this also seems to be pulling at the little girls.
I’m just going to stop you there and ask if you are thinking the same thing as me. Are you thinking…
“That panda wants the D?”
I’m serious how often do you see that pose without it meaning “Hey, look at me I’m hot.” But for the life of me I can’t figure out why they would use it.
Seriously I’ve walked past this thing to get to the chips hundreds of times and it still just irks me.

I Am Cracked.Com
So there exist quite a few internet based video producers and quite a few of them are groups of people. There are some people who like CollegeHumor, some who like Smosh, but myself I’m a Cracked kind of guy. I understand my position may make me a rebel. Yes it’s true I color outside the lines, I use pretzel rods as cigars and I like Cracked, even when it was just a magazine, I’m a rebel without a cause but I’m thinking cancer research would be a good one.
Personally Cracked is my favorite group of people who make entertaining content. They might not be as big as CollegeHumor or as successful as Smosh but I feel like they really push out premium content on a regular basis where as the other have more of a hit and miss record with me, personally.
CollegeHumor has a way around sketches that put most groups to shame but at the same time they never really hit you with any introspection. It’s always just, hey let’s make a sketch that takes something that was once not serious then make it super serious: Minesweeper, Street Fighter, Dora the Explorer. Or a list of the people you know using archetypes. By no means am I trying to insult them I mean Every so often CH makes a really good sketch or hits a satirical point in social media with pin point accuracy.
Smosh is really just random humor and music video. I understand people like that and I won’t denigrate them for the things they have done, they do certainly put work into them it just seems far too similar to each other. It’s just set up, then random thing, end of video.
Cracked however, I feel like they are constantly setting out interesting video and articles that deal with a little bit of everything. They have videos and books dealing with just about every possible thing. Want an in depth pop culture analysis on musicals? Cracked has a video about it. Want to know about all the cool things in history that you don’t know about because it seemed less than important in an educational spectrum? Cracked has a book about all the cool and interesting things in life that seemed less than necessary to know for school. Think all those movies based off of historical figures or events are so cool and you feel like these people were heroes of the highest caliber? Well guess what. Cracked wants you to know all those people were huge dicks!
I like Cracked. They are interesting. They push the boundaries and really entertain me. Now I’ll leave you with my favorite sketch they have ever made.

My thoughts on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014
So the trailer for the new TMNT movie has been released and
needless to say I’ve seen mixed reactions. I know some people who have said “Wow,
here I am defending the hell out of the new TMNT movie. I honestly never
thought I would but after seeing the trailer and keeping up with it since it
was first announced a good time back, I want to see it.”
And I’ve also seen people saying how much they don’t like
the looks of the upcoming “Bay-Make”. “If you want to give your children
nightmares, show them the new Turtles trailer. Terrifying”
Personally I have mixed feelings on what I’ve seen. It looks
nowhere near as bad as I expected it to be, despite showing Megan Fox in the
trailer doing that wide eyed mouth agape look she is known for like she doesn’t
have any clue what she is doing there. But thankfully she isn’t talking. More
to the point I am worried about this movie.
I had made the choice to not care about or even see this
upcoming movie when it was first announced. I said I’m done Bay has made me
angry for the last time with Transformers 3 and I am done seeing his movies. Then
he announced that he had acquired the rights to TMNT and I got scared and angry
because I knew he would ruin it. Some people said “Hey man, let’s see what
happens. Remember the first Transformers? Maybe it’ll be okay.” Then he announced
that the turtles would be aliens. And everyone, Everyone (!), freaked out! A
big hubbub was made and Bay put the turtles on the shelf, then he announced he
was working on it again and that the turtles would be turtles again and then he
announced filmed was beginning.
It was announced that Megan Fox had been cast as April O’Neal
and yet again the world went “FUCK!” again. Then we heard nothing for a while.
People whispered about who should be cast, rumor sprung up that turtles of the
past should be playing these new turtles then it happened. The first looks at
the new turtles.
The reactions as usual were mixed. Personally while all my
friends said “I like them!” and “They look much better than I thought they
would.” and even “They look so cool!”. I sat on the sidelines thinking, they
seem a bit bulky to be ninjas and the feudal look is a bit much for me.
Personally I didn’t hate them however I didn’t care for it. But I pulled myself
off the bench and got back in line for the film, so it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve
ever seen.
Since then we have seen the trailer and I have to say of the
4 turtles we have heard 2 of them. Leonardo and Michelangelo are the only ones
who speak in the trailer, as far as I am aware, however the voices of all of
the turtles have been listed on Wikipedia, along with who will be playing Shredder
and Splinter. The voices seem odd to me to hear these less than imposing voices
coming from these very imposing turtles. The closest to fitting is Mikey but
that is also debatable. I can only say you have to judge for yourself…
But I have to outright say. My biggest problem past the look
of the turtles has to be the casting for Shredder and Splinter. How can that
possible be my biggest problem with this upcoming (Possible) Childhood Dream Destroyer,
with images of the actors doing motion capture like this.
Well to put it bluntly Shredder is a skinny old man from Drive
Angry and Splinter is the dwarf I confuse for the dwarf from Sabrina the
Teenage Witch. I cannot honestly put it any more plainly than that. I am by no
means complaining for the casting of a dwarf as splinter, a white guy maybe,
but not because he is a dwarf. I assume Splinter will be CG like the turtles
but it could be that he is a puppet or even and actor in a suit, however
unlikely that may be. My biggest problem is his voice, I have no idea how well
I’ll be able to ignore the fact that the man who is splinter tried to kill
Rorschach in Watchmen. Or that the Shredder is the
accountant from Drive Angry.
So I guess I just have to wait and see how this all goes and
honestly I’m a little excited to see where this goes I am just afraid that this
movie might kill the hype of the turtles again. Ever since the first cartoon
the turtles have been around in some capacity and I love that! They haven’t
been as big as they are though since the reboot in 2012. I walk through the toy
departments and I see an entire aisle of TMNT toys, you pull one off the shelf
and you can see no less than 25 other toys each a different character. And I am
brought back to being a child and loving every second of TMNT Hype! I just fear
that this movie could be so bad that it kills my joy and all the younger
generations who are just getting into my childhood heroes.

What does it take to be a Furry?
So I guess I should be putting this in a video but then it would be hard to link to all the porn I plan to link people to. Or not really harder just stranger but if I do a video I'd rather show you but most places don't allow it. Even though Tosh.0 (NSFW) showed the MLP porn based sub-reddit(NSFW) clop(SFW) (2 links for your convenience). But I had a thought that is rolling around in my noodle so here goes.
Don't judge.
Ok, Judge.
You were going to anyway but by giving you permission, I win.
How much furry porn do you have to look at before you are a furry? Or for that matter does it make you a furry if you don't masturbate to it? Are you a furry by fucking a fur-suiter? Couldn't we all be furries?
No so preface to that question...post face. I'm like most people. I love porn. And I've seen most if not every kind unlike everyone else. And I mean most if not all, I've stumbled across a few that scare even me and some that just make me sick. Illegal and legal, I assume some is illegal and I know some is. Bestiality is technically illegal, yet I've seen a woman and a man blow horses, at one time and separately. But furry porn has become a whole lot more popular, prevalent, known, seen or available. Whatever the way you'd put it it’s much more in the public eye or at least it is talked about more than it was in the 80's early 90's and with that in mind I have to say...
I'd fuck Lola Bunny.
Is it really so weird to want to fuck something we have made fuckable? I understand saying well I wouldn't want to fuck say a pony from MLP. I can definitely understand that but at the same time I can understand why people would like the idea as well, thinking of them as people more than animals as they kind of make you feel. The entire point of a talking animal in a world filled with talking animals is for them to be the norm; they are supposed to be us. We relate to the character more than the physical form as far as I'm aware. I mean we don't look at Looney Toons and get angry that Daffy is getting hurt by Bugs Bunnies actions. We don't take Daffy getting shot by Elmer as "On no! That duck got shot and is now dead." we see it as "That asshole got shot! Ha!"
But upon thinking about it MLP is a terrible choice until someone anthropomorphizes them...Anthro Luna. Until it is changed to be more human I guess it is just technically zooiphilia with a sentient animal, and I won't argue that till it happen. So back to the point furries, Is it so wrong? Or I guess strange is a better term, that we would have to separate people into groups of who would and would not want to fuck it? I mean I'm guessing at least 25% of people have tried a sexual toy, I know I have and I know a lot of girls who have vibrators. So we don't think less or strangely of them. So why do we think it so strange that people would want to fuck something not human but so similar?
I don't consider myself a furry but I'd definitely think huge breasts on a bunny or a rat would be sexy, if it was also along with a more human form and a personality. Does that make me a furry?
So I have to ask, what makes you a furry?

Donatello Fights Alone
I'm finally able to record game footage again so I figured why not make something fun. I love TMNT, have ever since I was a kid and that will never change no matter how many terrible iterations it goes through, those Fox versions(1, 2) namely as well as the 3rd movie. But I dig the new series on Nick as well as the old games and series.
All that said I know Donny is the punching bag of the group. But he'll always be my favorite.

The Single Life
Dear Universe,
Why the fuck am I not gay? No I'm fucking serious! Why am I not a God damn homosexual? In my life as a straight man I have a total of 1 out of 3. I am Unemployed, I live in a basement and I am painfully single. Of course I have no proof the world would be a better place but I have the word of homosexual men everywhere (or at least that I know). If I was gay I know at least one guy who has offered me a home, sex and in all likelihood a job. Single-handedly Homosexuality can fix every problem I have but I can't do it. Fuck you Universe and Human body.

Cooking with Zombi and More!
So recently I've been trying to do things and honestly it's a little hard to really get anything done when 75% of my time is spent coughing, I'm a bit sick now. So it's been hard to get any work done. But I'm getting better and I've been working on a few different things. So let's start with the big one, a new Cooking with Zombi!
I finally got to make some delicious chicken! I didn't have all the spices I needed but it came out so fuckin good! So you should try making it yourself, you won't be disappointed. Next I made a short video then had a great conversation with friends where we just did Han Hill impressions. So I present Hank Hillside.
While I've been house sitting I got to make a new vlog about the space I am currently in. So here is a small vlog where I take my shirt off, you have been warned.
Past that I've been working on a few projects on the side and reading porn! It's really hard not to love porn as we all know but one of my favorite kinds is hentai, because it is a better story than regular porn. But I've discovered some porn bothers me and I'm not talking about the illegal kind, but just in a story sense. I read a story that was really depressing because people where in love but sad things happened. So I've been reading other ones like Karen Chameleon.

Poor Web Design Thoughts
By no means am I an expert in the field of web design. I'm a pure amateur in that field at best. I own a few domains and run at the moment 2 websites. ThePutzCast.com is a site for my more creative endeavours in hopes of creating a career out of entertainment and my personal blog Babies-On-Fire.com. Both very simple sites run on "blogger.com". Now I’m going to give you a small history on my history of "Web design".
I started working on my own personal blogs so I could have my own space on the internet for people to find me, not just YouTube or Facebook. I learned from the RoosterTeeth staff that it is best to have your own little space since at any point against my will sites like Facebook or YouTube can change any little thing and I'd have no real say on the matter. Being an amateur in web design and at the time having no knowledge of HTML or any code I chose Wordpress. With word press I made a few blogs and drifted from blog to blog learning slowly how to do things. From there I switched over to Blogger finding it to be more user-friendly as well as offering more options I could put into use with little code knowledge. I have personally found that to be the best blog/site hosting in my own opinion being that Wordpress requires money for a few of its features and Blogger does not have some of those features but requires no money for special features like widgets and scripts. From that point I decided to learn at least basic HTML coding. I've been studying it on my own for a little over a year. With this knowledge I'd like to give Wordpress a try again, but will more than likely stick with Blogger for my own uses.
With my own knowledge and history out of the way I am here to talk about a poorly designed site. Not poorly coded, just poorly planned and designed. I will use http://thezerolevel.com/ as an example of a bad design and as an obvious bias I will use my own site as an example of good design. I say this knowing full well this is extremely biased, that said I will say that my site at the moment is not flashing and is actually rather lacking in "style" but at the moment it is that way by choice. I am not talking about design in terms of style I'm talking about it terms use as well as simple looks. Firstly I will show you both sites.
The very first thing you should have noticed is the size of each page. I hate to admit it but what most people think is true.
"The generation of the internet has a short attention span."
YouTube has proven it, of course there are exceptions to this but for the most part think of your first site like this. People should see your site and they need all the information you want them to have in the first 30 second of being there. When you look at The PutzCast site you can see everything we want to display to you. From the very beginning we see our logo and tag line, rather large right in the middle. This establishes our brand. Admittedly this is what you might call a problem with Blogger sites, they usually stick with a ratio for a banner as to make up for the width of the blog the banner comes out rather large, but at the same time if it is for a site you want people to remember it is actually very helpful. While a bit gaudy it leaves an impression. And from the tag line people can infer that our site in not for everyone and is comedy based simply by saying "Everything is funny, nothing is sacred." We have a simple page bar under the logo featuring links to what we would call our most important content. I will remind you this is where these 2 sites we are comparing come to head. The PutzCast is a website about a small group who make entertainment based content as opposed to a group of individuals each trying to market themselves. But at the same time there are ways around that grouping people based on their form of entertainment, video based in one category, audio in another and text if you so choose in another and you are all sorted out. There are sites out there that feature quite a few contributors such as TGWTG, The Agony Booth and Reviewers Unknown. The simplest way I can try to put this point is focus on smaller groups or group people differently. People have to be able to see the content you want them to see when they first come to your site.
To the left side we have a donation button, links to our social media outlets (in a way that tells you which site in a simple yet stylish way, the chicklet), a way for you to follow our site, if you like our site a way to share it and finally our archive in a drop down format to minimize space. In the middle of our page is our most recent content, and depending on that post's length our front page varies. To the Right of that we have at the moment a singular tower ad in an attempt to promote interesting content as well as earn some sort of revenue. For this we would personally recommend Project Wonderful ads. This source of ads allows you to choose what kind of ads you would allow to run on your site as well as being a simple chance to earn money for your site. Project wonderful uses a simple process to verify your site or blog on its merit and if you are able to run their ads on your site. If you read their agreement, and this is just from what I remember, There is a clause in their agreement that if you run Project Wonderful ads on your site you should not also run Google ads, because that can cause problems for them and they do not care for the clutter. So from what I have seen of a few sites they run both. So just be sure to read their information if they allow you into their system. And if you choose to we would appreciate if yo use this link, since it they have a referral system where we can make a small profit for leading you to them if you use their site. So if you have use for Project Wonderful please click that link.
From there we really don't have to go over anything else for The PutzCast, but I will point you down to the very last item on our page. We also have an ad, which is also a link, to our own store. It is unnecessary but it is our own attempt to try and catch your eye and direct you to the store after reading an article, since by our logic. If you like our content enough that you have read our article to the point you can see the bottom of the page then you might just might click that link.
Now let's move on to The Zero Level.
First thing you will notice is the waste of space that is their header. We see their logo taking up a small corner of their header with a blank space and a search bar on the other side. Their navigation bar has a total of 3 links. They are "Home" "Live Streams" and "Forum". This tells us nothing about the site other than they have live streams and a forum to discuss things like the live streams. Simply put looking at this site I know nothing about what it is or why I should venture deeper.
Right under the header we will see a very strange and redundant. We have a slider of the most recent content for the site and right underneath that are from my count the 10 most recent articles, either video, audio or text in from what I can tell no particular order other than most recent. This is fundamentally redundant. We don't need to be told twice what is here. If we keep the slider we can remove the content posts, shortening the page length and giving people the content or links you want them to see. From here we can ignore all the content posts since have already seen them in the slider so let's focus on the sidebar, that continues down the page even when you run out of articles. In this side bar we have in order:
Having compiled this site from top to bottom the site is 8604 pixels from top to bottom give or take a few pixels. This site is huge! Way too long without telling me anything about your site! So we will start with the side bar. A Facebook like widget is a very understandable thing to have to show off your popularity as well as give people the ability to like your site on a very popular social media site. So it seems to be in a pretty good place. Next “Our Shows”, I cannot list all of the producers they have on this site just for sheer lack of time! So instead I will show you a picture.
The very first thing I noticed after scrolling through their producers is that there is an "uncategorized" section and upon clicking it I am taken to this...
Which is nearly the exact same as if you click the "Sinner Radio" tab...
Not to mention other repeated links which show up in other widgets.
From here we move on to the podcast player. This widget is completely unneeded. Simply put as an owner of a podcast site this widget is a waste of space. People who listen to podcasts in general will download them to their own player, or will listen to them on their own designated page, not on the home page a little less than half way down surrounded by other "text links" to other podcasts. If this site lost that widget there would be not mourning in fact it could only help.
Following that we have the login information which should be at the top of the side bar. Announcing to new people that you can log in to this site and be a part of a community! Not half way down doing nothing. People have seen your content twice by this point and have literally no reason to keep scrolling down. So put this widget at the very top of the sidebar with the Facebook like widget below it and be done with it. Next is Recent Forum posts. This isn't needed either and honestly if you want it the best way I think you could implement it is to stretch it horizontally in the middle of the page under your content to try and emphasize that you are building a community for people to participate in. So put it in the middle and give people a few lines of what it is about, a summary if you will. Also make it so it is only the top 5 at most recent Forum posts.
Channel Zero Twitter Feed. This isn't needed, but if people want these they should be near the top to show what you have posted or give people a chance to see what you have to say on these things but really it isn't needed.
I have no idea why this next widget is here. The channel Zero Web-ring is a complete waste of space. It is and I quote a link to the homepage and 3 other possible partner sites which are not listed in the next widget marked affiliates. And under that widget is the widget marked friends, followed by sponsors and "cool Sites" Everything except Sponsors is a waste of space lump all of these together and lose the link to itself and you at least have a large list of site that "The Zero Level" seems to promote. Making separate widgets for things that are all basically the same is a waste of space on your page. Honestly if you want these so badly since they are square picture links just put them at the very bottom call them affiliates and just have them go in a line or 2 across the page instead of stacked on top of each other in separate widgets.
Lastly are the 2 stacked Tower ads. These are some of the worst placed ads I have ever seen. By this point on the page I have run out of content and am looking as a big blank space next to 2 ads. There is literally no reason I should have scrolled this low on the page. And since most ads are based on clicking these are gaining you nothing. They are sitting here wasting space and whoever is paying for them wasting their money since no one will see these. If you insist on running ads on your site put them at and really these are the only places they should go. Top above your content, bottom of page under your content or on the side next to your content to try and entice people to click them! Anywhere else and they are being wasted.
So that is all I can really tell you. Just stop and think about the design of your site before putting anything in place and if your site looks anything like this think about changing that. I hope this helped someone and Have a nice day.
First “The Zero Level”
Second “The PutzCast”
The very first thing you should have noticed is the size of each page. I hate to admit it but what most people think is true.

Zombi talks about The Walking Dead Game
So I've taken to playing a game I got for free on Xbox live. Recently, the day or so before the end of the year Xbox was offering a few deals and one was the very first episode of the game series The Walking Dead by Telltale Games and I have to say it is amazing! I've yet to beat it for various reason, mainly the time. But from what I have played I love this series. So I decided to talk about it.
And now I really gotta finish it! So hey thanks for watching or reading if you only did that.

Cooking With Zombifaction and More!
Hey, I never really thought I'd continue it as a series but guess what. Cooking with Zombifaction! I'm gonna try to do it on a fairly regular basis. Whenever I have a chance to cook something new or something I enjoy I'll make an episode.
Apart from that I've also released a vlog, featuring the Cinnamon Challenge! I'm working on another vlog about something I heard in Game Grumps. So that will be up in about 2 days at most.
I've been thinking of doing a weekly vlog about One Piece. Oh wow such an innovative idea! Vlogging about a manga you read and giving people your opinion! I've never seen that! Well guess what fuck nut lots of people have blogs and yet for some reason people still show up. So maybe people like my opinion on things, even if it doesn't influence them!
I'm sorry you had to see that.
So yeah I was thinking about that. Just as a chance to get my thoughts out of my head, and maybe it would entertain someone or spark someone else to do something similar. So hey if you've be a pal I'd love for you to check out my video and subscribe to my YouTube channel if you'd be so kind. I'd like to direct you also to The PutzCast Store where you can find all the shirts I've made. No one says you have to buy anything but maybe you'll find something you think is cool.
Also I made that "The Amityville Sandwich" shirt.
Thanks for your time!
